Lawyer Assistance Programs and Mental Health in Law

Lawyers are statistically more likely to be problem drinkers than other professionals. They also face job stresses and firm culture that can normalize addiction and make it difficult to admit problems or perceived weaknesses. Librarians can help ourselves and our co-workers by learning more about the programs available from bar associations to help lawyers and legal staff to get help and support.
