Alternate Paths to a Happy Career in Law Librarianship

In law librarianship, there's immense pressure to follow a set path--from a beginning librarian up through becoming a director or manager. People are often questioned if they stray from this path. But this isn't for everyone (and can't be because there are only so many director jobs). It's much more important to select your passions and pursue those. If it's administration, great; if it's not, that's great, too.
